What is meant for 'Fatigue'?

According to the dictionary meaning fatigue can be defined as weariness from bodily labor or mental exertion; lassitude or exhaustion of strength, get tired of something or somebody, temporary loss of strength and energy resulting from hard physical or mental work etc. Fatigue though a common health complaint is one of the hardest terms to define, and a symptom of many different conditions. Desire to sleep may be a symptom and cure of fatigue at the same time. Often a comfortable sleep is enough cure of fatigue but imagine you arrive home after performing hard physical and mental exhaustion. You are totally fatigued but your wife and children and other loved ones expect you to given some time to them. It is a very awful situation when you want rest while your family on the contrary requires you to given them sometime. This means that after spending long eight hours or so of mental and physical exertion it is still not the end of your duties. You still have to be active and energetic, but your body is not in harmony with your mind. You want to join your loved ones and cheer these lovely moments but your body is not complying the directions of mind.
So what is the solution? In my opinion best way to cope with such situation is to beg a pardon for half an hour or so and follow the light exercises advised in this book, which will make you fresh.
Fatigue is common problem and in some cases may be intense enough to spoil your normal life. Surprisingly, physical causes of this problem are attributed 20-60%, while emotional causes are 40-80%.
Fatigue may also result in anxiety, insomnia, forgetfulness, neck discomfort, gastrointestinal disorders, hair loss and diminished sex drive. In fatigue one feels "dissatisfied" or "deeply dissatisfied" with his physical and mental condition.Though it is just natural that we get tired after hard work irrespective of the fact that it is of physical or mental nature, it is very important to get out of such state as early as possible to normalize our physical and mental health and to gear up the affairs of our daily life. It may be of your interest that fatigue is the number one impediment to better sex. While answering to the question; “in your own life what do you feel are the biggest barriers in great sex”, 57% of men attributed “fatigue” as the biggest impediment to better sex. So, for a happy and joyful life it is imperative to get rid of this undesirable state of mind and body.
